Well I am sitting heare waiting for the New Year 2007. Hoping and praying that 2007 will be a better year for not just me but for every one. We usually go to our neighbor's house for New Year Eve, but I took a tumble yesterday and bruised my bad old leg. I just didnt feel up to getting dress and fixing a cover dish to take. I guess this the first time that we have'nt gone to our neighbors house in over 6 years. They are really good neighbors and they really watch after us. When I fell yesterday my husband couldn't get me up off of the floor and he called them. They came right down and took me to ER. Thank goodness I didnt break any bones just bruised up my old bad leg. I am feeling better tonight but just sore.
I wanted to do some art work but just didnt feel up to it today. Hope that I will be up to it tomorrow. I bought some DVDS for my husband for Christmas so we watch those, I mean I watch the movies my husband slept through both of the movies. So I had a lonely New Eve Night.
It is 11:30 right now and husband has gone to bed for the night after I roused him up out of his recliner to take our dog Sassy out to potty. A great New Eve evening I must say. I have always enjoyed going to our neighbors house as we all had so much fun and great food. I really miss not going this new year eve and I know they understood why I wasnt able to come as they are my helpers when I need them. I guess I am just feeling sorry for myself. Didn't mean to cry on anyones shoulders.
I do hope every one has a Good New Year in 2007. I pray that my health will get better and that we will have peace around the world.

Wonderful Day
Well I know I havent posted in here since before Christmas. I had a wonderful Christmas Day with my children(the ones that were able to come) I know most of you have read Beths blog of the account of our Christmas Day together with our family. We had a great day and she posted some pictures of the family on Christmas day. As you all know I am not smart enough yet on this blog to post pictures LOL. I have tried and just guess I dont hold my mouth the right way as they never appear in my blog LOL. After Christmas day I packed all of my Christmas decorations and tree away as to me after our get together with our children Christmas was over with for me. I got real smart and started reorganizing my art room. I packed all of my Christmas and fall art supplies away. Then I typed labels for all of my drawers of supplies so I could go and find what I needed. I was spending more time looking for something than making something. I still like my littler drawers with do dads labeling them. I receive so many wonderful treats from every one when I host a swap in ATCS, Books they really come in handy in my art projects. I really appreciate all those treats that I receive from all of my art friends.
Today was a wonderful day as my sweet Beth and I went out to my two sisters house and spent the day with them. We exchanged Christmas presents with one another. I got a beautiful Christma pillow and a beautiful cream color scarf with my initials on it. My sister fixed us a nice lunch. I made both of my sisters a YA YA Girls Book and knitted them a neck scarf. My oldest sister will be 87 years old in Feb and my other sister will be 85 in Feb. also. I am the baby of us three girls. I will be 78 in Feb. also. We were all borned in the month of Feb.
My oldest sister Adelaide is so sweet and bless her heart she is able to live by herself and cleans her appartment and cooks. She goes to all of her grand children and great grand childrens birthday parties and ball games. She really get around real good for her age. Her eye site is failing on her and she couldnt read the little book that I made her. Guess what Beth done she went to Walmart and got both of my sisters a magnify glass that went around their necks and rested on their chests so they could read the books. They both have the dry degenrating disease of the eyes like I have also, but my oldest sisters eyes are getting worse.
We left my sisters house in the afternoon and we just had to go by Hobby Lobby and Book A Million stores. We had both swore that our New Year Resolution was going to be not to buy any more card stock and supplies. Well 2007 isnt here yet and we bought more paper and supplies LOL. They had some of the most beautiful Valetine card stock and was on sale. We bought some stickers and stamps. We then went to bookstore and I bought 2 new art magazine and of course Beth bought some book on her new toy her camera that Santa Daniel gave her.
I spent the night with Beth last night so we could get up early to go to my sisters. Beth and I tried some new techniques out in the book that Beth gave me for Christmas. We finished our deco books ready to mail to the next person on the list in our round robin deco books.
Beth made some great pictures of our visit with my sisters. I want try to upload them in here as I am so dumb they never load in here. Maybe one of these days I will learn. Beth tried to show me how last night to do it but my old mind has already forgotter what she showed me LOL.
Wishing every one a Wonderful and A Happy New Year.

No!! I am not dead yet
I guess everyone that has checked my blogs are wondering if I surrvive Miss Jane visit. I really enjoyed her visit and I sure hated to see her leave. We had such a good time together. I also was so glad that Jill came up here on Wednesday to meet with Jane, Beth, Rosemary and me. We really enjoyed all of us meeting one another for the first time. It is so nice to meet your dear friends in person. I wish I could meet all of my art friends in person. Maybe one of these days I will. I hope to go to visit Jane this summer and I will get to meet Beth McVeigh also who lives fairly close to Janes house. I have been so busy after Jane left catching up on all of my art projects that we all goofed off while she was here and shopped two days while she was here. So I am just about caught up I hope. Finished making my Christmas Greeting Cards to send out today. I do have Judy Dicks Winter Wonderland Book to work in and I need to finished up making gift tins for my kids money that we give them every year. Oh well tomorrow is anothe day of work but it is the kind of work that I enjoy so much.
If you read the time this was posted you will see I couldn't sleep so I just finally got up at 3:30 A.M. My darn old leg and hip was hurting me so badly that I just got out of bed and turned the coffee pot on and here I am just a typeing away LOL. I am so tired of being in pain with my hip, back and leg. Nothing seems to help the pain and I surely dont want to get hooked on drugs. I didnt take a pain pill or muscle relaxer last night as I am so afraid I will get hooked on those darn things. I went to the Dr. last week and had a cortisone shot and he gave me pain patches and pain medicine. The shot helped my swelling in my feet but didnt ease my pain. They also made xrays of my hip and done a bone dinsity test on my back and hip. So far havent heard from these test yet. If I dont hear today I will call the Dr. today. I am so darn tired of hurting like this. Here I am a 77 years old woman that should be up running around like a chicken with its head cut off, but no I can hardley walk much less run. I see women my age that is all spruce up and dancing with a good looking old codger and here I sit and sit. Oh well guess I am just feeling sorry for myself. But Gee I would love to be able to travel and see a different scenery than Dickson. Guess I will just be contented to sit and do my arts and be thankful that I can get out of bed every morning. I have a lot to be thankful for. I have a good husband, very fortune that we have a good retirement and wonderful kids and family a good warm place to live in and food on the table. Our newspaper has been posting some sad stories about people on the Wish List that breaks my heart to read about. All I ask the Good Lord is for better health and continue to be able to get around.
Well guess I better get off of here as I have a lot of work to do today. Just wanted anyone that happens to come in here to check out my blog that I was still kicking, but not up a storm LOL.
Lisa I am so sorry about your Mom. May God Bless you and give you the strenght to see these holidays through without her.
Will try to do better on writing in my blog I promise for the New Year that will be one of my resolutions.
